Disease that destroy vagina

Disease that destroy vagina
VAGINA THRUSH                                                                  Candidiasis: it is caused by candida. The micro organism which causes vagina candidiasis is in fact, a fungus. Candida Aibicans which can become everyday inhabitanat of your body is found in various parts of the body, including the skin, the vagina, the rectum and digestive systems.                                                                                                                            Thr presence of candida in the body is not normally detected, but when something happens to upset the natural balance, it maintains under control in the body and the result is thrush or candidisis. The itching, the mounds and the discharges which you have probably noticed are typical symptoms of vagina candidiasis.
REASONS WHY YOU MAY SUFFER FROM VAGINA CANDIDIASIS.                                  The exact reasons for this turn of events when the body becomes incapable of keeping candida under control are not completely definite, but doctors have identified certain factors which can make the body more vulnerable to candidiasis.                                                                                         You might have taken antibiotics recently, although antibiotics are prescribed for the destruction of bacteria harmful to the body they can also contribute to the multiplication of candida.                                                         Abuse of antibiotics is therefore not good.                                                                    If you use oral contraceptives(birth control pills), the probability of you developing an infection of candida increases. The increased levels of a hormone called oestrogen which is normally present in the blood circulation of the body can stimulate the increase of candiada because oestrogen increase the levels of a type of carbohydrate(sugar) which candida uses as nourishment. It is for these reasons that many women experience vagina candidiasis attacks after their menstrual periods, when the oestrogen concertrations reach their peak.                                                  If you are pregnant your vulnerability to these infection is greater than that of other women. The increased levels of oestrogen durong pregnancy, as well as during the premenstrual period create a climate favourable for the growth of candida.                                                                        Certain conditions that predispose the body to fluctuating metabolic processes as a result of iodine in the body could also favour the growth of candida. Such conditions include hyperthyroidism otherwise called goiter and hyperthyroidism.                                                                                                                        You will be more susceptible to vagina candidiasis if you are diabetic. The high levels of sugar in the blood associate with this illness can also stimulate the growth of candida. Anything that causes tension or irritationin the vagina tissue for instance, child birth, sexual intercourse without sufficient lubrication, internal absorbents or intrauterine devices(IUD’S) can increase your chances of developing vaginal candidiasis.                                                                                                                           Some drugs, such as those used in the treatment of cancer for examples are called IMMUNOSUPPRESSIVE or CYTOTOXIC AGENTS.                            These agents can make one susceptible to vagina infection because they reduce the body’s natural ability to fight infections.                                                     Ingestions of high quantity of certain drugs with high alkaline base could be also result in elevation of pH both in the vagina area and the body in general. In view of the fact that candida thrices well in basic medium, suffice it to say that increased alkalinity will enhance fungal growth.                                                                                                                                   PREVENTION TO VAGINA CANDIDIASIS                                                                                          carefully wash the vulvae lips (external genitals), which are usually a location favourable for growth of candida.                                                                  Avoid using underwear from synthetic fibres and panties that are too tight. This kind of underwear retains moisture and heat which promote the proliferation of candida.                                                                                When cleaning up after defecation, clean towards the anus(away from the vagina) in such a way that the candida present in the anal region will not have access to the vagina region.                                                                                 Use a lubricating gel during intercourse to avoid bruising or irritating the vagina tissue, the vagina being point to entry of the yeast.          Avoid excessive use of vagina douches(not more than once a week) because this can affect the equilibrium of the normal bacteria flora which help to prevent infection. Ensure you completely rinse off soap from the private area after taking your bath, as left over can diffuse into the vagina area to increase the pH and promote candida growth.
TREATMENT: putting unsweetened yogurt in the vagina is asid to be a useful home remedy to keep control yeast infection. Never use antibiotics for yeast infection, it could worsen the situation.
VAGINA DISCHARGE: is a mucus or pus like stuff that comes out from the vagina. All women normally have a small amount of vagina discharge, which is clear, milky, or slightly yellow. It has no itching or bad smell.  But many women especially during pregnancy, suffer from discharge often with itching in the vagina. This discharge maybe caused by various infection. Most of them are burdensome, but not very dangerous.
TRICHOMONIASIS: a thin and foamy, greenish-yellow or whitish, foul smelling discharge with itching, it may burn to urinate, sometime the genitals hurt or are swollen and the discharge may cotain blood.    It is likely that the husband of a women with Trichomoniasis has the infection too, even though he does not feel anything. When the woman is undergoing treatment the husband should be treated too.
TREATMENT: it is very important to keep the genitals clean. A vagina wash or douch with warm water and lemon juice in water.                                                  Note: water enter slowly during about three minutes. Do not put the tub more than 3 inches into the vagina.                                                                           You can yse glove of garlic as a vagina insert(peel the garlic take care to put it into the vagina).
When thick, milky discharge with a smell is noticed. This could be an infection caused by bacteria and special tests may be needed to gray discharge, streaked with blood, bad smell, pain in the lower belly. These are signs of more serious infection, or possible cancer.
HOW A WOMAN CAN AVOID MANY INFECTIONS
Keep the genitals area clean. When you bath (daily if possible) wash well with mild soap. Urinate after sexual contact, this helps prevent urinary infection. This is 20% true (does not prevent pregnancy).                                                                               Be sure to clean yourself carefully after each bowl movement, always wipe from front vagina to back anal region to ensure safety.

INFERTILITY

INFERTILITY
Note: first women should take folic acid daily to enable them bear children. Folic acid is available in chemists. Natural folic acid is available in yellow vegetables and fruits. Orange has natural folic acid.
A man who is unable to make woman pregnant after many years of much effort infertile, while a woman is infertile if she is unable to conceive after many years of efforts.
There are two types of infertility. Primary and secondary infertility. A woman who conceived or had a child or children in the past and not able to conceive again after making much efforts is known to have secondary infertility while a woman who has not been able to conceive after making effort is known to be having primary infertility.   A situation where a man has never been able to make woman pregnant is known as primary infertility, while a man who was able to make a woman pregnant in the past and not able to make a woman to conceive again after much efforts is known to have secondary infertility.
CAUSES: woman infertility has many causes.                                                                                         CERVICAL INFECTION, when the cervical passage is blocked by polyps or thick mucus making semen impassable.                                               INFECTION, the fallopian tubes could be made scared or damaged.                                                                                                                                              CONTRACEPTIVE PILL, these pills interfere with the production of hormones.                                                                                                        ABORTION, incompetent doctors or drugs can damage your womb.                                           HORMONAL PROBLEMS, deficiencies of progesterone or short luteal phase leads to wrong implantation of fertilized egg.                                                                                                       ENDOMETRIOSIS, adhesion, scarring and ovarian cysts, when cells implant themselves outside the uterus to be flushed out during menstruation.                         ANOVULATION, where ovulation is absent. FOOD, you are what you eat. Junk foods are without nutrients. SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS, unknown evil friends and relations can block your blessings if you have no Jesus christ in your life. TUMOR OR FIBROIDS, many mischarriages are caused by fibroid.  INCOMPATIBILITY, some male sperms are allergic to some women for sometimes. Some male sperms are not compactable with some women ovaries. They riot each other for some time.                                               SURGERY, previous surgery and intra-uterine device (IUD) complications.                                                                                      There are also several factors that are responsible for male infertility: INFECTION, chlamydia, staphylococcus syphilis, etc can interfere with hormone or sperm production. OLIGOSPERMIA, low sperm counts, motility and morphology.      AZOOSPERMIA, dead sperm cells, no living cell in the sperm.  VERICOCELE, scrotum varicose veins that are reproduction organs.                           HEAT, working in hot environment or near hot oven for long periond.                  UNDER-WEAR, like heat, under-wear may cause heat or too tight and restrict normal flow of blood in the reproductive system.                               FREQUENT SEXUAL INTERCOURSE, may interfere with maturity of sperm.                   STRESS, poor diet and bad lifestyle contribute to low sperm count and poor sperm motility. DRUGS, cigarette and alcohol are contributors.                                                SPIRITUAL POLLUTION, friends and relations can manipulate those without jesus christ circle. Men that patronize prostitute and street girls with unknown parental back-ground are victims and prisoners of spiritual infertility.
NUTRITIONAL REMEDIES: vitamin “B” complex, including B6: use 100mg two times daily.                                                                                           Vitamin “E”: with mixed tocopherols 600iu daily.                                                                   Vitamin ‘c’ with bioflavonoid 1,000mg daily. Feeding right and stay healthy

Feeding right and stay healthy

In a society where the tradional meal has rice, garri or yam at the centre of a daily meal, with beef or chicken as an accompaniment, it can be tough feasting on a healthy diet. With many parents working outside the home, there is also a gradual decline and irregularity in the qaulity and quantity of food young children eat. However, nutritionists insist that if we are to live for a long period of time with strong and vibrant bodies, the kind and quality of food we ingest is a factor to be paid great attention.     According to experts, healthy eating is not about strict nutrition philosophies, staying unrealistically thin, or depriving ourselves of the food we love. Rather, it’s about feeling great, having more energy and stabilising your mood: all of which can be achieved by learning some nutrition basics and using them in a way that works forus. To ensure we succeed in our quest, it is necessary that we think about planning a healthy diet as a number of small, manageable steps rather than one big drastic change. Every change you make to improving your diet matters. The long term goal is to feel good, have more energy, and reduce the risk of cancer and disease. The tips and secrets for eating our way to a healthy body are below.
1.     IT’S NOT JUST WHAT YOU EAT, IT’S HOW YOU EAT.                                                                          Healthy eating is about how you think about food. Healthy eating habits can be learned and it is important to slow down and think about food as nourishment rather than just something to gulp down in between meetings or on the way to pick up the kids. Eat with others whenever possible. Eating with other people has numerous social and emotional benefits, particularl for children, and allows you to model healthy eating habits. Eating in front of the TV or computer often leads to mindless overeating. Take time to chew your food and enjoy mealtimes. Chew your food slowly, savouring every bite. We tend to rush though our meals, forgetting to actually taste the flavours and feel the textures of our food. Reconnect with the joy of eating. Listen to your body. Ask yourself if you are really hungry, or have a glass of water to see if you are thirsty instead of hungry. During a meal, stop eating before you feel full. It actually take few minutes for your brain to tell your body that it has had enough food, so eat slowly. Eat breakfast, and eat smaller meals throughout the day. A healthy breakfast can jumpstar your metabolism, and eating small, healthy meals throughout the day(rather than the standard three large meals) keeps your energy up and your metabolism going avoid eating at night. Try to eat dinner earlier in the day and then fast for 14-16 hours until breakfast the next morning. Early studies suggest that this simple dietary adjustment-eating only when you are most active and giving your digestive sysetm a long break each day- may help to regulate weight. After dinner snacks tend to be high in fat and calories, so are best avoided, anway.
2.     FILL UP ON COLOURFUL FRUITS AND VEGETABLES.  Fruits and vegetables are the foundation of a healthy diet. They are low in calories and nutrient dense which means they are packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fibre. Try to eat a rainbow of fruits and vegetables every day and with every meal, the brighter the better. Colourful, deeply coloured fruits and vegetables contain higher concentrations of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidantsand different colours provide different benefits, so eat a variety. Aim for a minimum of five portions each day.
3.     EAT HEALTHY CARBOHYDRATES AND WHOLE GRAINS. Choose healthy carbohydrates and fibre sources, especially whole grains, for long lasting energy. In addition to being delicious and satisfying, whole grains are rich on phytochemicals and antioxidants, which help to protect against coronary heart disease, certain cancers, and diabetes. Studieshave shown people who eat more whole grains tend to have a healthier heart.
4.     PUT PROTEIN IN PERSPECTIVE. Protein gives us the energy to get up and go. Protein in food is broken down into the 20 amino acid that are the body’s basic building blocks for growth and energy, and essential for maintaining cells tissues, and organs. A lack of protein in our diet can slow growth, reduce muscle mass, lower immunity, and weaken the heart and resipratory system. Protein is particularly important for children, whose bodies are growing and changing daily. Focus on quality source of protein, like fresh fish, chicken or turkey, tofu, eggs, beans, or nuts. When you are having meat, chicken or turkey, buy meat that is free of hormones and antibiotics.
5.     ADD CALCIUM FOR STRONG BONES. Calcium is of the key nutrients that your body needs in order to stay strong and healthy. It is an essential building block for lifelong bone health in both men and women, as well as many other important functions. You and your bones will benefit from eating plenty of calcium-rich foods, limiting foods that deplete your body’s calcium stores, and getting your daily dose of nagnessium and vitamins D and K nutrients that help calcium do its job. Good sources of calcium include milk, yogurt, cheese. Vegetables and green beans.
6.     LIMITING SUGAR AND SALT. If you succeed in planning your diet around fibre-rich fruits, vegetable whole grains, lean protein, and good fats, you may find yourself naturally cutting back on foods that can get in the way of your healthy dietsurgar and salt. Avoid surgary drinks. One small bottle of fizzy drink has about 10 heaped teaspoons of sugar in it more than tha daily recommended limit! Try sparkling water with lemon or a splash of fruit juice. Eat natural peanut butter to satisfy your sweet tooth. Most of us consume too much salt in our diets. Eating too much salt can cause high blood pressure and lead to other health problems. Try to limit sodium intake to 1,500 to 2,300mg per day, the equivalent of one teaspoon of salt. Avoid processed or pre-packaged foods, processed food likes canned soups or frozen dinner contain hidden sodium that quickly surpasses the recommended limit
